We gather every week to focus–or refocus–on the truth of God’s word and the grace we have through Jesus. We proclaim God’s truth, submitting ourselves to it, seeking to be transformed. We collectively worship, not as disconnected individuals but as a community, through music, teaching, prayer, and sacraments.
When and Where?
We currently have one Sunday gathering at 10am.
Each service typically lasts about 80 minutes.
We meet at 185 Sams St, Decatur GA 30030.
What should I wear?
We hope you’ll wear whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll find plenty of people dressed casually (t-shirts, shorts, jeans) and others dressed a little snazzier (slacks, dresses, skirts). Just come as you are.
What should I do with my kids?
We have a kids ministry called EchoKids: a safe, fun, and educational environment for children aged birth through 5th grade, or you are free to keep your children with you in the worship gathering. (All of our children’s workers have undergone background checks and been trained prior to volunteering).Resonate Kids Info
What is a service like?
Our services are typically about 80 minutes and involve:
Singing. We’ll praise God and encourage each other with songs.
Preaching. We’ll preach the unchanging truth of Scripture and seek to apply the gospel to the core concerns of our lives. (You can view our sermon archive here)
Communion. We’ll celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of Jesus’ death as a sacrifice for sins.
Giving. We’ll give as a response to God’s grace to extend the church’s ministry to our community and world. Giving boxes are in the back.
Planning to Visit?
At the main entrance, you’ll find our Welcome Desk. One of our hosts there will help you register any children for Resonate Kids, escort you through the church providing as much of a tour as you desire and help you find what you need while answering any questions. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll have somebody waiting to meet you.
Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We have different groups, called LifeGroups and DNA Groups, that are a great way to get to know others in the church, be real with each other about everyday living, and join in serving the community.Find Out More
